Hello Everyone!
So sorry for not updating been on of those hectic few months!
I finished for summer at the end of May after all my uni exams and I am pleased to say I passed the first year with flying colours :)
I have had a busy time jumping, I jumped at the Bolesworth Classic for 4 days at the end of May/June. The first day was called off due to rain. Oscar jumped ok just the odd pole and ended up coming 6th in the 1m and we qualified for the Scope championships! 3 weeks later I then went to southview to jump round another 1m class , we were clear in the first round and then just an unlucky pole in the jump off, we came 5th but they were only placing up to 4th so was a bit gutted, but hey ho. I then went to a few training shows just to keep Oscar ticking over. At the end of July we went to Stoneleigh Park for the Trailblazer championships. I jumped the 1m warm up on the first day and just had an unlucky fence, but we were the fastest 4 faulter so ended up coming 8th :) on the second day Oscar put in a cracking double clear but we were just out the placings in 12th as everyone was going round like the grand national. He jumped well on the third day too with just an unlucky fence. I was pleased with him coming 8th and 12th out of the whole country! Last weekend I went to tushingham arena. It was safe to say we were having an off day as we had some poles in the metre which was not like him. I jumped him round the 110cm with 8 faults so I felt that was an improvement , so not such a bad day. This week we are taking Oscar back to Tushingham for a schooling session before going to southview at the weekend before I go to the Scope championships in 2 weeks.
That's it for now
Olivia.
