At the moment I am uber stressed in the middle of exam period. Its going ok but not as well as I was hoping.
Anyway enough of that. I haven't really been able to go out jumping due to now transport. At the start of April I went to the Blue Chip Championships down at Hartpury. It was an experience for me. We didnt have the best rounds as we were both so rusty, but it was great experience. Last weekend I went to a charity show my friend was running and I took Oscar. Things were going great until the last fence and then we had a miscommunication or spook or something and I ended up on the floor. I wasn't hurt, but oh well thats the sport of jumping. I then took him the next class and we just had 8 faults one was me turning a circle. Oscar is a hard horse to ride and if you are not on top of him all the time he will have have you on as he is so quirky. He is also a major worrier, hence why I now dont jump any bigger than 110cm in the ring with him. He hasn't got the brain to jump big even though he has the ability so we are just getting him comfortable and super good at the 90-105 classses which he will be ace at! We are also going to try our hand at some other disciplines. I didnt go away empty handed from the show though. I won best turned out and horse and rider and won a rosette and a medal. I must have looked so graceful flying through the air.
I am also in a professional opera at the moment at the Lowry Theatre with Opera Della Luna, rehearsals have been going great and opening night is just under two weeks away! so book your tickets as they are running out!
Out also want to say a huge thanks to my wonderful sponsor GG Couture. They have some lovely products for sale and currently working on some exciting new products. Karen at GG Couture supports me so much whether the results are amazing or me falling off and as an amateur rider its really lovely to have that support! So please check out the website in my sponsors section.
Any way thats it for now I shall leave with a pic from the weekend
