Susan Hunt
My mum and groom at shows. Together we sort out all the show entries and schedules as well as sorting out all the supplements, vet and farrier visits. My mum was not horsey at all but over the years we have both learnt together and I don't know where I would be without her a shows helping me. We do everything together. I sort out Oscar and she sorts out the important bits at the show like entries , stables etc as well as doing fences for me in the collecting ring. We carefully plan shows around the weekends she is away in Scotland which is our other home.
Grooms
Where would I be without my grooms, well I probably wouldn't have horses. Now I know what people think having a groom for one horse, but due to singing and university as well as not having horsey parents they are vital in looking after the horses. I am privileged to be based with an international show jumper, and her grooms treat my horses they same as hers. They keep Oscar in top condition and shape and always looking his best. I don't know where I would be without them!
