Hello everyone!
I apologise for not post anything on here, since going back to uni I have been mega busy what with being in 2nd year and all.
At the start of term I took Oscar on a farm ride the first time ever for both of us and I think we can say we both enjoyed it. Cross country is not my strong part and I only jumped small as both Oscar and I are wimps but we both had fun popping around in the glorious sunshine. I then went to Bold Heath to jump a blue chip qualifier and discovery the first time in the ring since breaking my back so I was a little nervous. He jumped well though , just 4 faults in the jump off of the qualifier and 8 faults in the disco. I then took him to tushingham to again jump a blue chip qualifier and a 95cm amateur qualifier. Again just an annoying 4 faults in the jump off of the first class, then he went double clear in the 2nd class but we were just out the placings in 7th which was annoying as I was so close to qualifying. The next stop in South View equestrian centre in a week.
I have two very exciting developments, the first is that I will be appearing on a CD with Selwyn Collage Cambridge, I have been asked to sing the solo part in John Hosking's requiem after I premièred it at the end of the summer at the North Wales international music festival. The recording is in January at Ely cathedral and I am very excited!
The second is that I proudly have a new sponsor, GG Couture is a new equestrian business which sells a lot of great high end products for you and your horse. I look forward to working with them! Check out my sponsors page for more information and links to their website.
So that's it for now thanks for reading
